Job Description Software Engineer The Software Deputy Senior Design Engineer position is a key technical staff officer supporting the software assurance and verification of the software products relating to the Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter (ARH) configuration. This will be a key role in supporting the role out and implementation of TLS 7.0 software build engineering design change. Deliverables Engage with stakeholders, investigate aerospace software engineering concepts, deliver and manage software engineering specifications and resources in support of the Defence materiel capability lifecycle. Investigate, analyse and report on software engineering defects and requirements (PCRs and SPCRs), develop and implement recommendations and advice to address issues. Work in collaboration with stakeholders addressing issues and software fixes using the Australian Integration Rig (AIR). Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex systems (ARH System) and identify trends in software usage. Stakeholder Liaison to identify Issues and implement issue resolution Undertake continuous improvement, with the ability to stay up-to-date on the latest software releases, updates, and best practices. Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create and maintain technical documentation, including the Flight manual and technical notes.
