Reporting to the Program Manager – Finance, this is a 12-month fixed term contract where the selected candidate will lead quality assurance, coordinate and support various testing phases, track and analyse key quality metrics, and serve as a primary point of contact for testers, developer leads, and project managers. In this role you will: Lead and manage quality assurance day-to-day activities Adhere to and implement quality assurance strategy and standards Define test plans, test scope, and quality objectives from release Co-ordinate and support across ST, SIT, UAT and PVT phases Facilitate communication between quality assurance, development, product management, and other stakeholders Adhere to portfolio's defect strategy and manage lifecycle ensuring timely resolution Track and report test progress Conduct root cause analysis for recurring quality issues Participate in release planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives Qualifications Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence) Familiarity with Kanban, Agile, or other development methodologies Strong communication and problem-solving skills Solution-focused and positive mindset Additional Information TAL is one of Australia’s leading life insurers, committed to inclusion, and supporting the career growth of our diverse workforce.
