We’re seeking a motivated, organised, and people-focused Retail Bakery Manager to lead the daily performance of our fast-paced retail bakery. This is a leadership role with a strong focus on team management, customer service, business operations, and profitability. You’ll work closely with our Front of House Supervisor and Head Baker, supporting them to deliver a great customer experience while overseeing the admin, staffing, and day-to-day running of the bakery. It’s the perfect role for someone with a hospitality background who thrives in leadership, takes initiative, and loves creating a well-run, people-first environment. Monday to Friday 8am-4pm Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 What You’ll Do Oversee smooth daily operations across kitchen and front-of-house Implement and maintain operational systems for cleaning schedules, checklists, and front-of-house procedures to support a consistently high standard across the retail offer (products sold, presentation and quality of those products, customer service and staff interactions, store layout, cleanliness, and atmosphere, pricing, promotions, and overall value) Be the go-to person for all admin: cash balancing, floats, banking, rosters, timesheets, invoicing and stock ordering Support and guide team leaders (FOH Supervisor and Head Baker) to ensure consistent standards, communication, and service Lead the team on the floor during peak trading hours (including jumping on the coffee machine or register) Monitor and improve store performance, team accountability, and wage-to-revenue targets What We’re Looking For At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality or retail leadership Strong people management skills — you know how to lead, support, and set expectations Confident with admin systems (e.g. banking, rostering, ordering, POS) Not afraid to jump in on the floor and lead from the front Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and great at juggling priorities You’re someone who takes ownership — you don’t wait to be told what to fix Barista experience is a bonus but not essential Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: Admin: 1 year (Preferred) Barista: 1 year (Preferred) Hospitality or Retail: 1 year (Required) Work Authorisation: Australia (Preferred) Work Location: In person
