As Depot Coordinator, you’ll take charge of day-to-day terminal operations, coordinating and planning maintenance activities while driving team performance. This hands-on leadership role will see you working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational targets are met, all while cultivating a positive, high-performing team culture. Your Opportunity In this role at our Osborne Terminal, you will lead and oversee daily terminal operations, ensuring the achievement of quality, safety, and throughput targets. Specifically, this role will: Promote a strong SHEQ culture and ensure safety, environmental and quality compliance across site activities, Plan and execute preventative and breakdown maintenance within budget, Drive contractor performance to ensure delivery within budget while maximising value and outcomes for Cement Australia. Oversee the unloading operation within regulatory constraints and reporting requirements In addition to performing hands-on terminal operator duties, including: Operate plant equipment, including front-end loaders. Allocate and supervise contract maintenance providers. Perform and support preventive maintenance routines and minor repairs. Monitor shipping activities and undertake daily stock control for receivable cement products. Dispatch products and materials to meet deadlines. Conduct basic root cause analyses for equipment failures. Ensure site housekeeping standards are maintained. What You’ll Bring To succeed in this role, you will have: Proven experience in terminal or industrial operations, preferably in a leadership capacity. Hands-on experience with bulk loading/unloading (desirable). A front-end loader ticket and manual driver’s licence. A trade qualification in electrical or mechanical fields (highly regarded). A forklift licence and first aid certificate (desirable). Strong computer skills, ideally with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and TIS.
