As a Stores/Purchasing Specialist, you will assist with the purchasing, invoicing and storage of non-paint related materials and services for the Clayton site. Key Responsibilities Source and purchase parts stocked in the Engineering store, utilizing SAP Update and establish spares requirements, quantities and locations Investigate and rectify invoice discrepancies Ensure goods receipting and stock issues are up to date Assist operations with Indirect and ad hoc purchasing Submit new part and new vendor requests Promote and ensure compliance with safe work best practice Store stock in a safe manner and maintain high inventory accuracy Work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including Operations, Finance, Logistics, Maintenance Requirements A working knowledge of stores management, experience SAP will be an advantage, sound knowledge of Microsoft software packages, in particular Excel Experience with material management transactions - Purchasing, receipting and issuing Strong communication and negotiation skills Knowledge or experience with engineering components Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to work in a team environment Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders Have excellent analysis skills with strong attention to detail What We Offer Opportunities for development and long-term career progression Access to corporate discounts, including WhereFit, that provide wellness benefits to our employees Give back to local communities with our PPG Colourful communities program.
