Our client, a large mixed enterprise near Williams in WA’s South West, is seeking an experienced Livestock Manager to take the reins of a large merino sheep enterprise. This is a hands-on and autonomous leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a structured but flexible farming environment with a strong commitment to sustainability and performance. The merino enterprise includes a highly ranked ASBV-rated ram nucleus flock, with a focus on producing highly productive 18-micron dual-purpose ewes. You'll oversee all aspects of animal husbandry, grazing, feed budgeting, and compliance while driving continuous flock improvement. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the owners and includes a highly competitive salary package ($100K–$130K negotiable), a 3x1 air-conditioned home, and a dual-cab farm ute. About you: Significant experience managing large-scale sheep operations; Strong knowledge of grazing rotations, feed budgeting, and confinement feeding; Skilled in animal health, nutrition, and breeding programs; Familiar with EiD systems and livestock software; Experience leading and mentoring teams; Practical, independent, and quality-driven; Passionate about sustainable land and stock management; Experience with pasture renovation and fodder conservation an advantage; Agriculture-related qualifications highly regarded.
