What you'll do Lead and mentor the financial accounting team Delivery of the month-end reporting for the group, including all balance sheet reconciliations, adjustment journals and variance to forecast analysis Manage the external audit and other compliance requirements, including oversight of the preparation of financial statements, compliance with accounting standards and preparation of supporting workpapers Prepare cyclical and ad-hoc financial reports for senior leaders of the business Assist the Commercial team in the completion of forecasts Support Commercial and Operations team with financial information and reporting to support decision making Assist the Financial Controller with cash flow management Supporting continuous business processes and systems improvements What you'll bring CA or CPA qualified, with a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field Hands-on manager with demonstrated experience in finance management roles, with the ability to lead and drive outcomes across the organisation Proven expertise in accounting standards, integrated IT systems, and advanced Excel/financial modelling skills, experience with SAP is highly desirable Transformational leadership experience with proven success in leading teams through change and process improvement initiatives Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable plans Why Spotlight Retail Group?
