In this role, you will manage client relationships, oversee annual tax compliance for self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs), and act as the primary contact for client SMSF administration issues. Your responsibilities will include project management of SMSF fund establishments and reviewing financial accounts. What's great about this role: Flexible part-time work, around 20 hours per week Positive and nurturing team culture Opportunity for career growth and professional development Shared role to manage a combination of clients and manage your own portfolio Engagement with a diverse array of clients Duties: Act as main contact for SMSF administration issues Attend client meetings concerning SMSF reporting and structure Project manage SMSF fund establishment processes Review SMSF annual accounts and tax returns for accuracy Prepare and lodge BAS and statutory reports Oversee the management of income streams through outsourcing Maintain and upgrade relevant software Prepare tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs Supervise ASIC compliance and relevant procedures Drive business development initiatives for LSAS accounting Skills and Experience: Relevant qualifications in Accounting Minimum 5 years' experience within a tax business services role Tax Agent registration preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Experience in business development and relationship management Proficient in accounting software and IT systems Capable of working both independently and as part of a team Positive, motivated and energetic attitude
