About the role Be a part of our dedicated Multidisciplinary Allied Health team who is leading the way in transforming aged care in Brisbane Our Physiotherapist role offers hands-on experience, professional development, and structured training through a supported induction process. You’ll be guided by an onsite supervisor who is committed to your growth and a compassionate management team that prioritizes high-quality care for our aged care and adult clients. The roles are based in our modern well equipped therapy centres with access to a support staff, a multidisciplinary team and senior staff and fleet cars are provided. We provide our therapy in a range of settings, in our centres, in our care facilities and in the community. We welcome applications from a wide range of experience levels. We can support Senior roles and therapists looking for a change in practice areas. New grads are also welcome to apply We have a team of over 90 staff across both campuses in Sinnamon Park and Chermside. Our team includes Physiotherapists, Dietetics, Podiatry, Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Nursing and more! Key Role Accountabilities: As a Physiotherapist, you will provide customer- focused services including: Provide physiotherapy services to customers presenting with a wide range of needs, including aged care, health and wellbeing, and rehabilitation. Deliver individual and group services, balancing direct treatment with supervised therapy to enhance the customer experience Work across services and sites within WMQ dependent upon service requirements. Complete accurate assessment and review of physical needs of customers, and to provide a consultancy service for a range of activities to a wide range of customers. Provide instruction, supervision and education to customers, support workers and other carers as required. Identify opportunities to provide other cross disciplinary services which may be of benefit to the customer. Ensure that the customer is an active participant in the development and review of treatment goals and planning. Ensure that positive and professional relationships and rapport are developed and maintained with customers. We offer our services at our Residential aged care facilities, in centre and via home visiting. It’s a diverse exciting multi-faceted role for Physiotherapist looking at broadening their skill sets.
