About the Team The Sector Education team is responsible for the development of effective educational resources for the aged care sector including providers, workers and older people receiving care. Our educational activities aim to assist the sector with building a strong understanding of regulatory operations and good practice. We currently provide education through our Aged Care Learning Information Solution (Alis), the delivery of workshops and website resources. About the Role As a Senior Education Officer - Facilitated Solutions, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design, development and facilitation of interactive sessions. Working with your peers in the wider Sector Education team you will ensure the educational products you develop are targeted, timely, integrated with other products, and meet the expected quality for public audiences. Your primary focus will be creating educational resources designed for live delivery - either as a live learning session, or for educators and managers in the sector to deliver to their own teams. You will collaborate with peers in the wider team and work closely with subject matter experts to identify and implement innovative solutions which meet the needs of the Commission and the aged care sector. The key duties of the position include Product design and development: Lead the end-to-end design and development of a range of face-to-face or virtual learning solutions which could include but is not limited to, workshops, webinars and experiential learning. Conduct analysis and collate information to create cohesive, meaningful educational products. Facilitation: Lead the facilitation of high-quality interactive sessions, by creating a positive learning environment which encourages participation, engagement and collaborative learning. Manage the complexity and challenges of delivering live sessions and proactively identify and mitigate risks. Project Management: Provide effective project management for work products and projects, including planning, coordination and risk management. Contribute to leading the delivery of the Commission's program of education activities and services both in a face-to-face and virtual online learning environment. Quality assurance and improvement: Undertakes quality improvement activities, including review, evaluation and monitoring of education outcomes, identification of areas for improvement, and proactively identifies opportunities for feedback. Reporting: Collate, record and report on education/learning activities and outcomes, providing both qualitative and quantitative information to track success and identify opportunities for improvements. Positive working relationships: Work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.
