About the Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diff Motor Mechanic to join our growing team at DRB DIFF SPARES AXLES PTY LTD in Dandenong. In this full-time position, you’ll be responsible for assembling, repairing, and diagnosing differential systems and driveline components for a range of vehicles and custom applications. What You’ll Be Doing Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild differentials including 9-inch, BorgWarner, and other performance setups Diagnose issues in driveline systems and recommend appropriate solutions Perform fitment, backlash adjustments, and gear setup with precision Read and follow technical diagrams, job cards, and customer specifications Maintain a clean and well-organised workspace Collaborate with the fabrication and workshop team to meet build schedules Stay current with evolving differential technology and tools What We’re Looking For Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic, Automotive Driveline Specialist, or similar Proven experience working with differentials and driveline systems Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to interpret workshop drawings and technical specifications Commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety A team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Manual driver’s licence required Welding or fabrication knowledge is a bonus but not essential What We Offer Competitive salary and secure full-time position Career growth and continuous technical training All tools and PPE provided Supportive and collaborative workshop environment Flexible working options for work-life balance Willing to provide Sponsorship for suitable candidates already based in Australia About Us At DRB DIFF SPARES AXLES PTY LTD , trading as DIFF KING , we specialise in differential conversions, custom setups, and performance driveline solutions.
