You will be involved in, but not limited to: To fabricate with MIG, assemble and weld metal components to detailed drawings and specifications Grind, clean and dress all aluminium and mild steel, polish stainless Steel Fabrication of profile lengths using rolling, bending and cutting machinery and fit components using jigs Use hand/portable power tools to shape and trim components down to appropriate size Assisting machine operators and mechanics, unloading goods, Performing general maintenance tasks Conduct quality control checks on own Work and become familiar with the assembly and construction process To be successful, you will have: Cert 3 in engineering - Fabrication or equivalent (Certification to be provided) or 2nd class welder with proven extensive experience Must be able to read engineer drawings, a tape measure, pressure gauge, level and square Ability to operate assembly machinery and welding equipment Manual dexterity and have Physical fitness with the ability to undertake manual-handling activities Forklift Licence highly desirable Hours and Rate: Day shift hours: Monday to Thursday, 7.00 am - 3.30 pm, Friday 7am - 12;30pm Hourly rate: $38 - $42 per hour, plus super Positions are subject to Police Check and medical clearance.
