Trades Assistant – Machine Assembler Wintech Engineering manufactures precision machines for export Worldwide. We take pride in our people, our facility and our product. We seek the services of a physically active Person who can assist our Tradesmen in assembling machines, make deliveries, maintain the workshop, assembly work, etc. Potential to grow with the job, if sufficiently motivated and able to show initiatiative. Duties will include: Assisting Tradesmen (Mechanical and Electrical) Deliveries and pickups (Ute and car trailer) Site housekeeping Facility maintenance including grounds and perimeter. Painting machinery – by roller Site improvement activities Preparing and packing machines into Containers. General handyman duties and odd-jobs. Assembly work Essential Criteria: Good with hand tools and power tools Confident in handling multiple jobs during the day Drivers Licence manual (competent reversing a trailer) Physically fit Forklift ticket Experience within a similar role. Can-do, positive attitude Maintain safe work practices Good references Covering letter addressing these topics. Accuracy and attention to detail in handyman tasks, essential that you are able to develop and maintain effective relationships with all employees proactively communicating with colleagues and management regarding site issues and demonstrate a positive safety and compliant attitude.
