This role is an opportunity to learn and develop and progress within a leading global company. Role Our Forklift and Warehouse Agents play a crucial part for interstate and international air cargo. In this role you will be working within our freight warehouse where your daily tasks vary from liaising with colleagues and clients, operating a forklift and assisting to build up cargo pallets and break down arriving pallets for distribution and, learning specialised cargo systems and air cargo requirements. With future progression to learning specialised equipment for loading and unloading cargo from aircraft (usually 12 months) and further opportunities to continue to progress your career. This is a Permanent Part-Time position working between 24-38 hours per week with a base contract minimum of 24 hours a week. A few of the key responsibilities of a Cargo Warehouse Agent include. Load and unload Cargo from aircrafts. Safely operate forklifts are required. Perform cargo handling duties using automated cargo handling system packing/unpacking ULD’s. Liaising with clients, management, and other relevant parties Safely manage and internally move all the consignments that come in and out of our depot in a timely manner. Be able to obtain and hold a forklift license ‘ Hold a valid driver license. Available to work a 7-day rotating roster.
