We’re looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Apprentice Marine Technician / Shipwright. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and nationally recognised qualifications while working alongside experienced marine mechanics and technicians. What You’ll Be Doing: Assisting with the service, maintenance, and repair of outboard and inboard engines Learning to diagnose mechanical, fuel, and electrical faults in marine vessels Working on trailer boats, commercial vessels, and high-performance watercraft Helping with engine installations, safety checks, and general marine systems Maintaining workshop tools and equipment Following safety and environmental procedures at all times What We’re Looking For: A genuine interest in marine mechanics and boating Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Good communication and teamwork skills Basic mechanical aptitude or experience (preferred but not essential) Driver’s license Completion of Year 10 or higher What We Offer: A full apprenticeship with on-the-job training and online training Supportive and experienced mentors Opportunity to work on a wide range of vessels and engines A pathway to a long-term career in the marine industry
