We manufacture a range of concrete pumping equipment including truck mounted boom pumps, truck mounted line pumps and concrete placing tower booms . We have branches in NSW, QLD, VIC, WA and soon to be SA. About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic person to assist in the daily running of our factory located in Wingfield. This is a newly acquired workshop and you will be involved in setting up the factory for the sale of spare parts, and repairs of new and used concrete pumps. This position would suit a quick thinking young person who is studying in a mechanical engineering field who needs experience, or someone already in the industry who is looking for stable employment in a flexible, workshop based, duel role environment. The primary role of this position involves assisting the Branch Manager in spare part sales, picking and packing goods, and general light workshop duties. The role will include setting up the new workshop and managing repairs of new and used concrete pumps. Future opportunities in the sales field and trade apprenticeships can also be discussed. Duties include but are not limited to: Working closely with the Branch Manager to set up the new workshop (first 6 months) General workshop operations (open and close workshop) Spare parts sales, ordering, picking and packing Workshop upkeep Light workshop duties Assist with pump repairs if required Manage service job bookings and ordering parts The successful candidate will: Hold a current Driver’s Licence Forklift Licence (desirable - Can offer training) Experience in the concrete pump industry (desirable not essential) Be enthusiastic and reliable Have great communication skills Be competent with basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook) Be able to work in a team and autonomously Benefits of Working with Flowcrete: Competitive pay rates (based on experience and qualifications) Bonuses and or commissions Be part of a working environment that is flexible to your needs.
