Responsibilities Your impact and responsibilities: Daimler Truck Financial Services (DTFSAu) has an exciting new 12 month opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Credit Operations Intern to join our team. This position will give you insights into the Credit Operations team, and will introduce you to real work experiences while starting your career within the Financial Services industry. You will work within a team that supports the sales strategy of achieving projected targets without compromising risk, ensuring good credit quality is accepted when assessing each application. Reporting into the Manager, Credit Operations, your key responsibilities will include: Assessment (within approved authority) of retail credit submissions, ensuring credit quality is not compromised and is of a high standard Building relationships with internal and external customers, and providing superior customer service to the dealer network in relation to the financing of Daimler Truck brand commercial vehicles. General administration support across retail and corporate credit operations. Qualifications What we are looking for: The successful candidate will possess a passion for analysis and a genuine interest in developing your career in the equipment finance industry. Your prior or current education in a Finance, Business or Analytics degree will set you up for success as you begin your professional career and develop the skills required in this field. Previous customer service experience is an advantage. A self-starter with a collaborative approach, your willingness to learn and participate in a team-oriented culture, balanced with managing independent work, will be critical. An eye for detail combined with a keen interest in our industry will set your application apart. You will possess good skills with Microsoft Office and be willing to learn new software packages. A qualification or commercial experience in banking, finance or similar would be advantageous.
