As a key member of our Site team, you will be responsible for Prepare the site logistic plan including site amenities, housing, entry/exit traffic management, cranage, hoisting, security, and waste management. Ensure the effective, efficient and successful execution of delegated construction projects in line with Built Environs policies and procedures and as directed by the Project Manager Ensure that subcontractors complete their work in accordance with the scope of work and programme provided by the Project Manager. Obtain and review SWMS (safe work method statements) from subcontractors before they commence on site. Perform regular inspections on subcontractors work ensuring the work conforms to the specification, drawings and QA check sheets. Establish and maintain a total understanding of the requirements of all drawings and specifications including specialist trade contractor/supplier shop drawings. Together with the Project Coordinator ensure that the QA plan is implemented and monitored during the duration of the project. Assist in the overall project management by constant review of construction methods and site performance and coordination of trade contractors against planned activities and programmes. Prepare and update a look ahead programme including procurement schedules and communicate with the project team and subcontractors. About You To be successful in this role you will have: Minimum 7 years’ experience managing commercial type projects. Relevant qualifications with broad knowledge of entire industry and process in order to relate to/with consultants, estimators, contract administrators, legal, councils and government, specialist contractors, union officials. Ability to identify risks and opportunities and human and technical resource needs for each project.
