About the role This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at View Melbourne' as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for supporting the successful operation of the hotel's food and beverage services. Based in the heart of Melbourne, you will play a key part in delivering an exceptional customer experience to our guests. What you'll be doing Assisting the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing all aspects of the hotel's dining, bar and events operations Providing leadership and guidance to the food and beverage team, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction Monitoring inventory, costs and budgets to maximise profitability Developing and implementing new menu items, promotions and events to drive revenue Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and licensing regulations Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment Acting as the Food & Beverage Manager in their absence What we're looking for Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar assistant food and beverage management role, ideally within the hospitality industry Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities Proficient in inventory management, cost control and budget management Working knowledge of liquor licensing and hospitality regulations Passion for the hospitality industry and delivering exceptional guest experiences What we offer At View Melbourne', we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
