A bit about the role We’re looking for a strategic and outcomes-focused Senior Project Manager to lead the next phase of enhancements for our OneCouncil platform. In this role, you’ll bring together cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project governance to ensure delivery of high-impact improvements that support business continuity and user needs. You’ll champion collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation to drive meaningful results across the organisation. What you’ll deliver Lead cross-functional teams to deliver OneCouncil enhancements aligned with stakeholder needs and business priorities.Oversee end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and governance of platform improvements.Collaborate with technical leads to ensure successful implementation using contemporary project management practices.Build strong stakeholder relationships to manage expectations and ensure business needs are met.Embed continuous improvement, capturing lessons learned and refining ways of working.Ensure project governance and reporting through risk management, issue escalation, and high-quality insights. What you’ll bring Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Project Management or related field.Certification in project or delivery management such as PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM or equivalent Agile certification.Proven experience leading complex enterprise software implementations, ideally within local government or public sector environments. (TechnologyOne CiA highly desirable).Strong background in Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, including internal staff, vendors, and consultants.Formal training in Governance or Risk Management.Strong change leadership skills, including ability to influence, coach and support end-user adoption and business readiness.Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work checkA curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
