We are looking for a motivated and reliable Operations Manager to join our team in a thriving and rewarding organisation . The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the effective and efficient operation of our NSW site. This role includes ensuring the effective dispatching and tracking of freight delivery, optimal utilisation on all company vehicles and forklifts and managing the effective communication between different departments to facilitate efficient operations. About the Role: The successful candidate will perform duties including but not limited to: Ensuring the freight is delivered safely, timely and in accordance with the company requirements Maximise productivity and minimise costs within operations. Enforce all relevant rules, standards and procedures across the site. Build professional rapport with company and subcontractor workers. Oversee and ensure that all employees are performing their duties and responsibilities effectively, providing advice and guidance when necessary. Ensure labour requirements for operational requirements are appropriately managed. Safety focus attitude to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. About You: Strong people management and leadership experience. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an operations management or supervisory role. A positive attitude, possessing a high level of courtesy and professionalism. The ability to coordinate operations in an efficient and effective manner. Extensive knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Law and Chain of Responsibility requirements. Flexibility, adaptability and versatility to handle changing work requirements. Acute listening, time management and problem-solving skills. A valid Forklift licence is preferred.
