Practice Information: You will be joining an established not-for-profit organisation with over 90 years’ experience dedicated to providing free, short-term early intervention therapy services to children aged 0 -13 and their families in rural and remote Queensland. Position Description: This is an ideal position for a new graduate Occupational Therapist who wants to grow their clinical confidence while making a meaningful impact in a regional setting. As part of the Brighter Futures New Graduate Program, you will benefit from structured, supportive development opportunities designed specifically for early-career clinicians. Your role will involve delivering therapy and supports for children fostering a holistic approach to their growth, development and overall wellbeing and may include children with a developmental delay or disability. You will be supported through: Weekly clinical supervision Regular line management and professional coaching Informal near-peer mentoring Clinical shadowing and observation opportunities Monthly learning modules focused on key clinical competencies Group supervision, clinical tutorials, and reflection sessions You will deliver services through a combination of face-to-face, telepractice, and outreach delivery models, supporting children and families in your region. You will also engage in family-centred practice, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to meaningful outcomes for rural communities.
