The Operation Site Assistant Manager will support the Site Operation Manager and inspire the team and consistently meet and exceed their performance standards. provide the best quality doughnuts possible. Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service across retail and production, addressing any customer concerns or feedback directly. Support with overseeing compliance with food safety, government laws, and local regulations, ensuring all audits, certifications, and health/safety standards are up to date. Develop plans to ensure sufficient flexibility in rosters and labour hours to accommodate demand surges. Embed succession planning into regular management meetings, cultivating future leaders and building competence through mentoring and skill-sharing. Create the weekly roster in line with budget, based on the all-channel forecast. Ensuring that daily production and retail demands are met in the most efficient and optimal manner while complying with all relevant legislation and regulations. Support the creation of a great workplace by utilizing Krispy Kreme resources to establish a seamless operation for recruitment, onboarding, and continuous growth for every Krispy Kremer. All Communication is received from support office, customers, and business partners is promptly actioned and effectively communicated with all members of your team. Collaborate with managers to update the daily production plan and/or doughnut orders when complexities arise. Carry out investigations for incidents occurring within or on your site in absence of Site Operations Manager Champion people planning, recruitment and performance management discussions. As far as reasonability practicable, protect yourself and others from safety risk and/or hazards. Escalate safety risks and/or hazards using the Krispy Kreme systems and processes. Lead, participate and/or contribute to regular communications such as the DDS (Daily Directional Setting), Team/Group discussions, Feedback sessions, general corrective guidance, accountability adherence and one-on-one briefings as appropriate; making sure these are recorded when required. Complete, analyse and provide feedback on all Krispy Kreme Operational standards. Assume critical functions of Assistant Managers in their absence. Engage and communicate when required with internal stakeholders and external professionals such as contractors, HACCP or Food Authority auditors, Suppliers. Lead by example, embodying the Krispy Kreme vision and leadership values in all actions. Preferred although not required - completed GM/LEAN-6-Sigma 5s training.
