Meet the Family Law team Family Law is a division of LEAP Legal Software which specialises in software solutions for our Family Law vertical. This is a one-of-a-kind team paving the way for a new structure in LEAP which focuses on tailored products for specific verticals of law. This team includes experienced legal professionals, developers, designers, and client-focused operational experts. We have in-house Australian Family Lawyers who are the experts in guiding the direction that our products take, along with a mature client feedback function. What you’ll do You'll join a team of Full-Stack Developers who take full ownership of their products. You’ll own the maintenance and evolution of one of our most critical applications (written in Angular), and work on translating new ideas and concepts with a family law focus into intuitive, high-performing web applications. Working closely with your team of lawyers, product, client operations, and beyond, you’ll help shape solutions that help family lawyers help people. The work you'll do initially will be 50% frontend (Angular) and 50% backend (.NET). To make this happen, you will: Take ownership of the planning, design, implementation, and support of our Family Law applications. Work closely with our Directors and Managers to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks. You'll act as a bridge between product vision and technical implementation, providing insights and recommendations where necessary. Identify technical challenges and devise innovative solutions to overcome them, leveraging your autonomy and expertise to drive the prototyping process forward. Design and develop high-quality, responsive UI using Angular and other web frameworks, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience. Improve the architecture of front-end components, optimising code for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Work closely with UX designers Take ownership of front-end components, driving the technical direction and setting coding standards. Participate in agile methodologies such as stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives. What you’ll bring; You'll need 3 years of commercial experience in full-stack web development, along with: Frontend: Proficiency in Angular. Backend: C#/.NET AWS Experience working with relational databases, e.g. MySQL Experience consuming external APIs. Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows. Experience with automated testing (eg. xUnit, nUnit, Cypress, Playwright etc) Experience working with sensitive client data. Even better, if you: Have experience working for a start-up.
