Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Services Senior Electrical Engineer Permanent, Full-Time Start Date: Flexible Location: Subiaco, WA (Office-Based) Salary: $150,000 Super Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a well-established building services consultancy based in Subiaco. This full-time, office-based role offers strong career development potential, with a clear path to Associate within 3 years. You will lead the delivery of building and infrastructure projects (up to $40M in construction value), working across education, institutional, and commercial sectors. The position requires technical design leadership, project ownership, and client relationship management. Key Requirements • 5 to 7 years' experience in a similar consulting or design role • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) • Proficiency in PowerCad5 and lighting design software (Dialux EVO, AGI32) • Strong knowledge of Australian codes and design standards • Excellent communication, client-facing, and team leadership skills • Comfortable managing full project lifecycle, including budgets and resourcing • Professional registration or working toward CPEng/NER status • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills Responsibilities • Lead the electrical design and documentation of assigned projects • Take full ownership of programming, QA, and project delivery • Manage budgets, resource planning, and scheduling using relevant tools (e.g., Total Synergy) • Oversee client liaison, reporting, and post-project feedback • Support business development through meetings, networking, and referrals • Participate in mentoring and support junior engineers and drafters • Engage in professional development and contribute to internal improvement initiatives About Our Client Our client is a privately owned engineering consultancy with a strong local reputation and a well-structured leadership team.
