Act as a technical authority, ensuring design integrity and quality. Provide expert advice and mentorship to engineers and graduates. Represent the business in client meetings, offering technical solutions. Drive design verification, audits, and process improvements. Oversee device and material selection and procurement. Identify skill gaps and support team development. Collaborate with subcontractors and promote a strong safety culture. Contribute to project bids and support business development. What You Bring Proven experience in control systems engineering within the Mining/Resources sector. Strong leadership and people management capabilities. Advanced knowledge of PLC (Rockwell) and SCADA (Citect); Siemens, Schneider, GE PLC, or Ignition SCADA experience highly regarded. Experience working with major clients such as BHP WAIO or FMG is a plus. Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Qualifications Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering. Minimum 5 years' experience in automation and control systems. Australian Driver's Licence. Full working rights in Australia.
