Test Manager - Payroll We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead testing activities for a large-scale payroll system implementation, including UKG Kronos Workforce Management. WHAT'S ON OFFER Daily Rate: Up to $900 per day (initial 6-month contract) Location: Hybrid - Melbourne preferred Deliver a robust end-to-end test strategy for payroll systems Lead and mentor a testing team through SIT and UAT phases THE ROLE: As the Test Manager, you will take ownership of testing for a major payroll system implementation. You'll be responsible for developing and executing the end-to-end testing strategy to support a seamless deployment. Working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will drive high-quality outcomes and ensure testing aligns with critical project milestones. ✅ Develop and execute the overall test strategy and detailed test plans for the payroll implementation. ✅ Manage test environments, data preparation, and defect triage processes. ✅ Lead and mentor a testing team across functional and technical streams. ✅ Provide regular status reporting, including test progress, risks, and quality metrics. ✅ Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with business requirements. TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Proven experience as a Test Manager on payroll and workforce management system implementations (UKG Kronos highly desirable). Knowledge of payroll platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, Chris21 (iChris), Aurion, ADP, or similar. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Ability to deliver in fast-paced, complex project environments. Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
