The Client See Thru Cleaning is an Australian business specialised in the field of facilities management for residential and corporate market segments across Australia. The Role They are seeking a full time Field Supervisor (Building and Engineering Technician) to join their team in Jilliby in NSW. This is for a full time position at an annual salary at $85,000 plus superannuation. The Field Supervisor (technician) will be responsible for assessing each site before works commence, assessing risks, briefing staff, checking and assessing access points, and determining the staff and resources to complete the job. The Field Supervisor will oversee on-site high-rise cleaning operations, anchor point installations, and safety systems, while ensuring compliance with Australian safety standards. This role combines technical expertise in safety systems with strong leadership to manage teams working at heights. The Responsibilities Supervise and manage field teams during high-rise window cleaning and anchor point installation projects Coordinate daily field activities, including staff scheduling, equipment preparation, and safety checks Assist with the installation and maintenance of fall arrest systems and anchor points Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, ensuring all projects comply with AS/NZS 1891.4 and working at heights regulations Train team members on safety practices, equipment use, and maintenance procedures Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely and successful project completion Resolve on-site issues and provide technical support to team members Maintain detailed records of project progress, compliance, and safety checks The requirements Qualification in engineering, construction, or a related field is desirable Roper accreditation A minimum of 2 years proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction, cleaning, or safety industries A minimum of 2 years technical expertise in anchor point installation, height safety systems, and working at heights regulations A minimum of 2 years experience in high-rise window cleaning or related industries A minimum of 2 years' experience conducting on-site risk assessments prior to commencement of work A minimum of 2 years' experience assessing access points, equipment logistics, and personnel requirements for individual job sites A minimum of 2 years' experience in managing internal staff (not subcontractors) and team management skills Familiarity with Australian safety standards, including AS/NZS 1891.4. Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work at heights and in challenging environments Certification in Working at Heights (RIIWHS204D) or equivalent is desirable
