Must have NV1 clearance 12 months CONTRACT with potential extensions Hybrid working arrangement ( 3 days a week on-site in Brisbane CBD) Daily rate: $950 (inc SUPER) ROLE OVERVIEW We are looking for a skilled Senior Business Analyst to support a major government technology transformation program. This initiative is focused on enhancing a national database system by transitioning key components, such as infrastructure, applications, and user access, to a cloud-based environment. This project aims to expand database access to State and Territory partners through Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) or similar technologies. A proof of concept is underway to trial the cloud-based migration of this critical application. As the program progresses, we require additional resources to scope, document, and drive the successful delivery of essential work packages. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Lead the capture and validation of business, functional, and technical requirements across various stakeholder groups. Run Agile and Scrum ceremonies, contributing to iterative planning and delivery cycles. Document functional and non-functional specifications to support cloud migration and infrastructure planning. Identify inefficiencies in current-state processes and propose data-driven improvements. Develop process maps and support business process reengineering where applicable. Coordinate across multiple concurrent projects and ensure alignment with broader program goals. Prepare business units for operational change, including go-live readiness and post-implementation support. MORE ABOUT YOU Strong experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools. Previous involvement in database or application migration projects, particularly to cloud environments. Familiarity with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) or similar remote-access technologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Background in complex ICT transformations, ideally within government or regulated sectors.
