Hofmann engineering’s established engineering workshop in Perth, is seeking to fill the position of a Mechanical Fitter / Gearbox Fitter in the mobile mining department About The Role Due to an increase in work and with the future driving our need to expand our workforce, the Mobile Mining department is seeking experienced, skilled and motivated individuals to join our growing team. In this role you will get the opportunity to work on a wide variety of mobile mining equipment of different makes and models that an OEM cannot offer ranging from Liebherr, Hitachi Caterpillar, Terex, Komatsu, GE and more. You will be working with a friendly dynamic team responsible for ensuring on time delivery of the following and not limited to final drives, travel motors, undercarriage assemblies and associated componentry To be successful in this role, you will require: Appropriate Trade Certificates; Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment; Experience in mobile mining related gearbox fitting would be advantageous Forklift & Crane Tickets would be advantageous; Ability to read technical drawings; Willing to work in a team environment.
