We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join an industry leader in the manufacturing and maintenance of mineral crushers and feeders for the mining industry. Based in Perth’s Northern suburbs, this is a Perth based role with all tools and PPE provided with a great team culture. Working Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:00pm, with regular overtime available, this is a permanent full-time position with the option to travel to site for shutdowns if you would like additional hours with FIFO rates. Key Responsibilities: Fitting, diagnostics, design, assembly and manufacturing of metal parts, tools and sub-assemblies on fixed plant mining equipment. Assist with repairs and technical reports. Travel to site for shutdowns as required. Operating workshop tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Deliver high-quality work within set timeframes. Key Requirements: Mechanical Fitter trade qualification (essential). Working at Heights, Confined Space, Forklift and Overhead Gantry Crane tickets (essential). Experience with fixed plant mining equipment (crushers, feeders, loaders), gearboxes and bearings in workshop and mine site environments. Rio Tinto inducted & Fire Attack ticket is highly desirable. Strong work ethic, commitment to safety and communication skills.
