About the Role As a Restoration Technician, you will play a vital role in helping families and businesses recover from fire, water, mould, and storm damage across Brisbane. This is a full-time, hands-on role where you will assess damage, carry out restoration work, and ensure properties are brought back to life. You will report to the QLD Operations Manager and work alongside experienced technicians who will mentor and support you. With our company expanding in Queensland, this role offers the opportunity for career progression into senior positions. Key Responsibilities: Restoring Homes & Businesses – Help bring homes and businesses back to life by performing water and mould restoration, drying, remediation, and strip-outs. Fire Recovery & Cleaning – Assist in cleaning, salvaging, and restoring fire-affected properties and belongings. Contents Assessment & Inventory – Carefully assess, remediate, and document items for recovery, helping clients restore valued possessions. Equipment & Vehicle Maintenance – Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment in top condition to ensure every job runs smoothly. Detailed Damage Reports – Provide thorough assessments and cost projections, using digital reporting tools to support insurance claims and restoration planning. Potential for Travel – There may be opportunities to travel regionally or interstate to support recovery efforts during major events, making a real impact in affected communities. Additional Earning Opportunities – Overtime and weekend shifts may be available, offering penalty rates and extra earnings.
