About the role: Operating within School Operations , the Technical Officer provides technical support services to staff and students within the School of Education by facilitating the efficient operation of, studios/laboratories and teaching spaces on the Melbourne campus. The Positon provides operational support to laboratory and specialist teaching spaces through the preparation of materials and equipment, routine maintenance, WHS inspections, stock control (including hazardous substances), and accurate record-keeping, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and ACU policies. Total remuneration valued to $88,743 - $95,998 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $74,989 - $81,120 (pro rata) pa (HEW 4), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 2.8% increase will be effective from the beginning of the last full pay period before 30 June 2025. 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff. Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
