With over $2 billion in total project value and a multi-gigawatt pipeline of solar, BESS, and hybrid developments, this organisation is at the forefront of the energy transition. Now entering a new phase of growth, the business is seeking a strategic and hands-on finance leader to work closely with the CEO and executive team in scaling its operations, optimising financial performance, and supporting complex project financing and investment decisions. Key responsibilities include: Leading all core finance functions: financial control, reporting, tax, treasury, audit and compliance Overseeing capital strategy, including project financing, debt structuring and equity management Managing risk frameworks, forecasting, budgeting and long-term business planning Supporting M&A activity and driving value creation across new and existing assets Engaging with shareholders, board members and external stakeholders Leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of ~20 across several finance sub-functions Aligning finance and HR-related strategy around organisational growth and workforce planning Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within energy, infrastructure or other capital-intensive sectors Deep knowledge of Australian corporate and tax regulations, IFRS and multi-entity structures Proven experience in complex project finance, treasury and capital markets Background in Big 4 advisory, audit or transaction services preferred A proactive, strategic mindset with a hands-on, pragmatic leadership style This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing business with a clear mission: to lead the transition to a more sustainable energy future.
