About the Opportunity 3x Council Camp Caretakers Positions Available This is your opportunity to join Carpentaria Shire Council and be part of a dynamic and motivated team working in a great environment. We are looking for suitable people to join a casual pool of employees to fulfil the role of Camp Caretaker and work within Council’s Engineering Roads Section. The position will be based at one of Council's Road Construction Camps which are placed throughout the Shire and will ensure the smooth running of the Camp whilst the work crews are off site on days off. The Camp Caretaker is required for a maximum of 5 nights over a 14 day cycle up until the end of the 2022 Works Season (late Nov/early Dec 2025). The successful applicant must:- Hold a current class "C" driver's licence Hold a current Construction Industry Safety Induction Card (White/Blue card) Be prepared to work in isolation and camp out in camp accommodation.
