We are seeking an experienced Payroll Compliance Officer to join a well-established organisation in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of payroll legislation, audit processes, and internal controls. About the Role: Ensure payroll practices remain compliant with current legislation, including Fair Work, Superannuation, and ATO obligations Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies or irregularities Maintain and update payroll policies, procedures, and documentation in line with regulatory changes Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, and external bodies as required Monitor system integrity and assist with implementing compliance improvements Provide guidance and support to the payroll team on legislation and best practices Support risk management initiatives and assist with internal or external payroll reviews Skills and Experience Previous experience in payroll compliance or a senior payroll role with compliance responsibilities Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and EBAs Experience with large payroll systems Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability High level of confidentiality and professionalism Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally If this role sounds like you, then please APPLY NOW!
