Your role at St John of God Ballarat We are seeking applications for an Administration Assistant to join our Patient Services team on a part-time fixed-term basis for 12 months. The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive and collaborative administrative support to the Patient Services Administration team, in the completion of clerical functions for patient’s admission through to discharge and provide a high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Contributes to and is involved in Quality Activities with a focus on best practice. Participates in determining and evaluating the quality of care being delivered to patients. Provide sensitive management of the reception area, dealing with patients and other stakeholders who inquire about the service and welcoming patients who come for appointments. Manage the telephone lines and sensitively handle telephone calls from patients. Successful applicants must have previous night shift experience, excellent verbal & written communication skills and strong computer literacy. Experience working with Health Funds and Patient Management Systems will be highly desirable.
