Demolition Supervisor – FIFO 2:1 | Short-Term Project with Ongoing Potential Location: Port Hedland, WA Roster: 2:1 FIFO (2-3 swings initially) Project Start: Mid-August 2025 Rate: Negotiable based on experience About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Demolition Supervisor for an upcoming short-term FIFO project based in the Pilbara, commencing mid-August. This role involves managing the safe and efficient demolition of structures including sheds and office buildings, working closely with site-based project management. While this is initially a short-term assignment, there is strong potential for ongoing opportunities for the right candidate with longer-term work available. Key Responsibilities Supervise demolition works in line with site safety, quality, and environmental standards Manage and coordinate subcontractors carrying out demolition activities Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and ensure all SWMS and JHAs are adhered to Liaise with the onsite Project Manager and client reps to coordinate sequencing and execution Oversee site compliance with isolation procedures and permit-to-work systems Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within scope Requirements Proven experience supervising demolition projects in the mining, civil, or industrial sectors Experience working under Tier 1 client systems and permit processes (Non-Statutory supervisory experience highly regarded) Strong understanding of high-risk activities including structural demolition, asbestos removal, and isolation procedures Current White Card and relevant high-risk tickets (e.g. Working at Heights, Confined Space) Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Available to commence mid-August and open to longer-term placements Desirable Demolition Supervisor qualifications (Class A or B) Familiarity with FIFO site-based work and remote project environments Experience working with Indigenous-owned contractors or community-focused projects What We Offer FIFO from Perth on a 2:1 roster Competitive rates – negotiable based on experience Supportive project team environment The opportunity to transition into a longer-term role How to Apply If you're a capable and safety-driven Demolition Supervisor looking for your next FIFO opportunity, apply now with your resume detailing your experience, tickets, and availability.
