Due to growth we currently have a permanent full time position based in Campbelltown site for a Trailer / Detailer to join the team. About the Opportunity A Detailer is responsible for the thorough cleaning, restoration, and maintenance of a vehicle's appearance, both inside and out. This involves a variety of tasks, including washing, waxing, polishing, and vacuuming, as well as using specialized equipment and cleaning agents to achieve a pristine condition. Detailers also perform inspections, document vehicle conditions, and may handle tasks like transporting vehicles. Key Responsibilities of a Detailer: Exterior Cleaning: Washing, waxing, polishing to enhance the vehicle's shine. Interior Cleaning: Vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and cleaning all interior surfaces, including upholstery, dashboard, and console where required. Vehicle Inspection: Assessing the vehicle's condition, identifying any damages or areas needing attention, and documenting findings. Inventory Management: Keeping track of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ordering replacements as needed. Customer Service: Communicating with all departments to understand their needs and expectations and providing excellent service. Vehicle Handling: Moving and parking vehicles, and potentially transporting them between locations (by licensed personnel only) Skills and Qualifications: Physical Stamina: The ability to stand and perform physical labour for extended periods. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure a thorough and meticulous cleaning process. Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with departments and team members. Technical Skills: Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and techniques, as well as experience with operating specialized equipment like buffers, polishers, and pressure washers.
