Role Overview This is a hands-on digital delivery role, responsible for leading complex eCommerce projects from initiation through to completion. Reporting into the Project Delivery Manager, you'll operate in a hybrid environment that blends agile sprint cycles with structured governance and reporting frameworks. From day one, you'll take ownership of delivery timelines, scope, and resource planning, while partnering with internal stakeholders and technical leads to bring initiatives to life. On a daily basis, you'll be working closely with UX designers, developers, QA analysts, and product specialists to execute key enhancements across the online platform. These could range from improving the checkout flow and search experience to deploying fraud prevention tools or integrating new payment gateways. You'll also liaise with external vendors to ensure milestones are met and quality is maintained, all while managing risk, budgets, and change effectively. The role demands strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. You'll facilitate steering committee meetings, contribute to business case development, and support the prioritisation of projects that align with broader digital strategy. You've led end-to-end projects across large organisations, ideally within retail or other customer-facing industries, and you understand how to blend agile delivery with structured project controls. You can confidently manage cross-functional teams, navigate ambiguity, and maintain momentum in a fast-paced, commercially driven setting. Your ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation is a standout strength. You adapt your style to engage C-level stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors with equal ease. You write with precision, speak with purpose, and bring stakeholders together to solve problems and move initiatives forward.
