About the Role Reporting to the People Operations Manager, the Talent Acquisition Lead will play a pivotal role in building a workforce that embodies LHG’s purpose and values. This is a newly created position, established in response to LHG’s continued growth and evolving talent needs. Both strategic and hands-on, the role will lead our recruitment function to attract, engage, and retain high-calibre talent. Collaborating closely with leaders across the organisation, you will shape effective hiring practices, deliver outstanding candidate experiences, and develop robust talent pipelines to support both current demands and future expansion. Based in our corporate office, you will also help strengthen our employer brand and ensure our recruitment efforts reflect LHG’s culture, values, and long-term business goals. Your key responsibilities include but not limited to: Leading end-to-end recruitment for critical and senior roles, partnering with leaders to ensure confident, values-aligned hiring decisions. Driving continuous improvement of recruitment systems, processes, and leadership capability, while providing guidance and support to the Recruitment Officer and hiring leaders across the business. Developing and delivering talent acquisition strategies that address current and future workforce needs, while building and nurturing internal and external talent pipelines through key partnerships with universities and RTOs Championing a consistent, engaging and inclusive candidate experience across all stages of the recruitment process. Collaborating with the Marketing and Communications team to promote our Employee Value Proposition (EVP). Supporting workforce planning, role design, and development of accurate position descriptions. Providing data-driven insights and reporting on key recruitment metrics. About You You’re a confident and collaborative recruitment professional who thrives in dynamic, people-centred environments. With a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, you bring energy, insight, and a commitment to creating exceptional candidate and hiring experiences. You’ll bring: Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders Confidence in coaching leaders and using data to inform hiring decisions Proficiency in applicant tracking systems, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office Experience recruiting within large or multi-site organisations A proven ability to build strong talent pipelines and manage end-to-end recruitment Sound knowledge of recruitment best practices and workforce planning A strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills Exposure to aged care, healthcare, or other regulated sectors (desirable) A general understanding of employment law and industrial instruments – or a willingness to learn Candidates may be subject to a pre-employment medical assessment with the successful candidate requiring current NDIS worker clearance.
