Tyre Fitter Trainee 9 day fortnight | 12 hour days Northern Operations (Andoom) 18 month fixed term Traineeship We are looking for (LAP) Local Aboriginal Persons Tyre Fitting Trainees to complete training and be able to maintain the sites heavy mobile equipment to ensure this critical equipment is available for operational needs. Duties include: · Conduct maintenance activities on HME tyres 24” and above. · Conduct inspections on wheels and their components. · Maintain tyre pressures in accordance with OEM specifications. · Recording and taking photographic evidence of work completed in order to gain Cert II qualification. · Working towards increasing equipment reliability as well as availability. · Carrying out daily Tyre Bay inspections and other various tasks. · Conduct weekly tyre pressure checks in the field on the mobile fleet and conduct regular PM works on tyre on heavy earthmoving equipment.
