Indinegous Development Trainee Role is based in Aurukun 9 day fortnight (Monday-Friday) 18 month fixed term Traineeship We are looking for a LAP (Local Aboriginal Persons) Wik & Wik-Waya Trainee to join the Indigenous Development team to participate in Community engagements, deliver efficient and effective data entry and offer on-ground support to community members. Duties include: · Event coordination support, with high attention to detail and ability to work in fast paced environment. · Using business software applications to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and agendas. · Coordinating Aurukun Rio Tinto office for visitors and stakeholder engagement. · Maintaining files, record, calendars and diaries. · Able to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities, collaboratively with confidentiality.
