We are seeking a reliable and experienced Logistics Coordinator to act as the 2IC to the Warehouse Manager and take ownership of daily delivery planning and dispatch operations. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering a clear career path into warehouse management for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be hands-on, with a strong background in warehousing and logistics, and confident using a forklift daily to load and unload delivery vehicles. This role requires a practical operator who can lead by example, stay organised, and ensure customers receive the correct goods on time. Key Responsibilities: Plan and schedule daily delivery runs for a team of six drivers Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for dispatch Load and unload trucks using a forklift Book freight and complete dispatch documentation Coordinate with internal teams via the shared inbox Communicate clearly with drivers and warehouse staff Maintain a clean and efficient dispatch and loading area Key Requirements: Previous experience in a warehousing or dispatch coordination role Valid forklift licence and driver’s licence (essential) Strong organisational and communication skills Confident working under pressure and making operational decisions Physically fit and capable of manual handling Competent using freight systems, booking platforms, and email This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated warehouse all-rounder to step into a leadership role and build a long-term career with a growing business.
