This is achieved by raising awareness, educating and mobilising individuals, groups and communities to change attitudes and behaviours towards women and children. NO MORE aims to reduce DFV through developing supportive cultures in sporting organisations, workplaces, organisations and communities, as well as build community capacity, establish men’s groups, provide DFV awareness education, and refer men who use violence in their relationships to support services including men’s behaviour change programs, counselling and other support services. NO MORE works with the whole community, initially targeting the men who want to champion the change of attitudes and behaviours towards women and children, then working with all those in the community who seek change including women, Aboriginal and other service provider organisations, government and local businesses. About the role The NO MORE Primary Prevention Coordinator is responsible for developing evidence-based program resources, developing and delivering training, and assisting with communications and promotional activities to ensure activities support NO MORE in meeting its objectives. This position has a particular focus on maximising outcomes for Domestic Violence Action Plans, engaging individuals, organisations and other groups in primary prevention activities, and building staff and community capacity. What we are looking for Relevant qualification and experience in DFV, Public Health, Community Development (or related field) Project management skills, including demonstrated ability to plan, implement, review and achieve project goals and objectives Experience in building capacity and upskilling staff and community members through mentoring and coaching Excellent digital aptitude and experience with online marketing and communications Demonstrated understanding (or willingness and capacity to learn) and commitment to primary prevention of DFV.
