We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Senior Procurement Officer to join a market leader in the supply of premium workshop and lifting equipment across Australia. Reporting to the GM Operations, this national role works closely with a small team to oversee all purchasing, procurement, and inventory control functions across the business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain, engineering, or inventory management, and will enjoy refining processes, engaging with suppliers, and driving cost efficiencies. With regular use of internal ERP systems, this role also requires intermediate to advanced Excel skills. You’ll play a key role in ensuring stock availability across multiple locations while continuously improving procurement systems and delivering on cost-saving targets. Key Responsibilities: Manage and account for all inventory held across national warehouse locations Coordinate supplier relationships and obtain technical specifications where required Oversee SKU rollout including setup in EXO with correct pricing, planning parameters, and lead times Provide regular reports to project managers on returned stock for potential reuse Conduct regular reviews of stock levels to identify and recover supplier costs where applicable Resolve procurement issues and recommend process improvements Maintain and update sales-related datasheets and product information tools Key Requirements: Minimum of 4 years of experience in an engineering, purchasing or procurement role Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and finance/inventory software (EXO advantageous) Strong knowledge of inventory control, purchasing processes, and supply chain practices Excellent organisational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across multiple departments Results-driven with a structured, solutions-focused approach The position will initially be based in Hemmant, with a planned relocation to a brand-new facility in Heathwood in January.
