The Opportunity Our client is a respected consultancy known for delivering technically challenging and innovative structural solutions across the infrastructure sector. As they establish and grow their Melbourne office, they are seeking a capable and ambitious engineer to be a founding member of their new Temporary Works team. This role offers direct exposure to large-scale projects and a rare opportunity to help shape a growing business unit from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design and delivery of temporary works (formwork, falsework, shoring, propping, etc.) for major infrastructure projects Produce high-quality structural calculations, design reports, and documentation Collaborate with contractors, clients, and senior engineers to develop practical and efficient solutions Participate in site inspections and design reviews Work closely with leadership to help build technical capability within the Melbourne office What We're Looking For 1–5 years’ structural engineering experience, ideally with exposure to temporary works or construction-stage design A solid foundation in structural analysis and design using Australian Standards Proficiency in software such as SpaceGass, RAPT, Strand7, or similar A collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail, and eagerness to grow Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Why Join?
