We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in Teradata to join a high-performing data curation team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex ETL solutions and supporting data integration efforts across enterprise systems. Work location : Canberra OR Melbourne Role type : Contract with a Federal government department Open for : Australian citizens , with an ability to obtain Baseline security clearance Key Responsibilities: Design and develop data integration applications (ETL) for Data Lake and EDW environments Analyse, prototype, and test ETL workflows using SQL, Teradata Studio, and Control-M Develop complex SQL queries and scripts Support data quality, governance, and data migration tasks Liaise with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions Create technical documentation and ensure data integrity across systems Essential Skills: 5 years' experience in ETL development within enterprise environments Proficiency in Teradata SQL , Teradata Studio , and Control-M Strong SQL programming and performance tuning skills Experience with UNIX/Linux scripting Familiarity with SFIA Level 3 4 competencies including Systems Design, Testing, Integration, and Deployment Strong written and verbal communication skills Desirable Skills: Experience with SAP, DB2, RDBMS, and HDFS environments Exposure to data lake concepts and big data frameworks Background in Agile delivery and CI/CD pipelines For more details call 0466435950 LI-SH1
