Full-time permanent position $45 per hour super (negotiable) Opportunity for overtime 9 day fortnight Long service leave after 5 years Our client is a trusted and reliable Australian supplier of industrial plastic parts, products, fitting and equipment, also specializing in the custom plastic fabrication, polywelding and installation services. Due to growth, we’re currently seeking and experienced Polywelder to join the team. Also welcome to apply would be Boilermakers and Plumbers looking for a career change. Within this role, your daily activities may including fabricating, assembling, reworking and repairing plastics both in the workshop and on client sites. This role is 70% workshop based. What we’re looking for: Current Polywelding ticket (essential) Minimum 5 years polywelding experience Experience as a Polywelder, Boilermaker or Plumber (trade qualified preferred but not essential) Understanding of welding and bonding techniques Proven ability to weld to tight tolerances (±3 mm) Experience using a range of poly welding equipment, including Dixon and Tecnodue Understanding and experience with tools and machinery Capable of working independently without supervision A broad set of valid tickets such as forklift, rigging, dogman, confined space, and working at heights Ability to read technical drawings Ability to work accurately to drawings Current drivers licence Strong attention to detail Strong safety focus and the ability to follow policy and procedure Benefits Full-time permanent position $45 per hour super (negotiable) Opportunity for overtime 9 day fortnight Long service leave after 5 years If you’re ready to take the next step in your career, apply today!
