We’re seeking an experienced HSE professional to lead safety and environmental systems across a diverse, project-based operations business. With a workforce spread across civil, rail and mechanical project sites, this leadership role is critical to maintaining compliance, supporting frontline teams, and driving continuous improvement. About the Role Reporting directly to the CEO, the HSE Advisor will be responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of health, safety and environmental programs across multiple operational sites. This role has a wide remit, covering compliance, systems, reporting and culture uplift and requires someone equally comfortable working at a strategic and site-based level. Key Responsibilities Lead HSEQ strategy and compliance with WHS legislation and ISO standards Maintain the HSEQ Management System and ensure audit readiness Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations Deliver safety training, toolbox talks and on-site inductions Analyse safety trends and implement corrective actions Advise on environmental compliance, waste and sustainability Report key safety metrics to the executive leadership team About You Minimum 5 years’ experience in WHS roles, ideally in infrastructure or engineering Diploma in WHS (or equivalent) with Lead Auditor certification Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 Demonstrated success building a proactive safety culture Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills Comfortable working across office and field environments What’s on Offer Critical leadership role in a growing operations business High-impact position across diverse project sites Competitive salary package and long-term career opportunity Head office based in the Hunter with regular travel to NSW site locations How to Apply: Please submit your CV detailing your relevant experience.
